A Lenten Journey of Repentance: All-Church Book Discussion Kickoff | Sunday, February 22, 11:00 a.m.

All-Church Lent Book Discussion Kickoff

On February 22, we welcome Rev. Danita Anderson as our guest preacher as we kick off our All-Church Lent Book Discussion of How the Word Is Passed by Clint Smith. If you would like to participate in the study, we encourage you to purchase and begin reading the book in preparation for the kickoff event and upcoming discussion sessions.

Following worship, Rev. Anderson will offer a special presentation at 11:00 AM. Lunch will be provided, along with time for table discussion and reflection.

This kickoff event will introduce the themes of the book and invite our congregation into a shared Lenten journey of learning, repentance, and meaningful conversation.

Sponsored by UMCL's Justice & Equity Committee.
