"How is it possible that summer is nearly over? "
Sunday is already Rally Day for Sunday School, and the regular school year either has or soon will begin as well for our children and teens — not to mention our college-bound young adults. Where did the long-awaited lazy days of swimming and beach reading, family vacations (near or far), and more relaxed work schedules go?
We may be wistful as summer fades and autumn phases in, I hope we are also anticipating the joys of new beginnings as the family of UMCL moves into a new year of programs, projects, and presence with one another — all encouraged and enriched by the Holy Spirit working among us and Christ walking with us.
Come on Sunday and take time to enjoy this year's Taste of UMCL. You will surely find an interesting and inspiring opportunity to learn and grow, to share and serve together, as we follow our Saviour's lead.
Take that step forward in faith — you'll be in good company!
